A Message From The Superintendent: I am keeping a close watch on the number of students and faculty we have out everyday. We normally try to look at a certain percentage of the student and faculty being out before considering a closure. I realize that a few schools in our area have shut down for a day or two due to the number of absences created by illness in their districts. I want to assure you that we have the safety and well-being of our students and staff at the forefront of the decision making process. Our total absences today are at the lowest point this week and our custodial staff has started the deep cleaning process and we will continue for as long as necessary. Should our absences reach the threshold percentage or the number of faculty out due to illness create a supervision issue, we would then decide if a closure for any period of time is needed. During this flu season, we are encouraging all to wash their hands frequently and use disinfectant when possible. Stay Well and Go Hounds!
