Due to the expectation of a large crowd, Newport School District will close the parking lot in front of Greyhound Field on the night of September 6th. For the Batesville game only, you will need to purchase a parking pass to enter and park in that lot for the game. JROTC will be parking cars in that lot and will only allow cars with the pass in their window to enter.
Parking permits can be purchased at the high school office beginning the morning of Sept. 3rd. The cost is $5 and you will receive the pass at that time. There are only 184 permits available and will be first come first serve.
Note** There are 15 Handicap spaces available in that lot and they will not require a permit for the night, but you will have to have a handicap tag or plate to enter.
The district has plans to run shuttles from other parking areas that night and will be putting out a map of available parking and shuttle locations on the website and the district's Facebook page.
